Judges, Demonstrators, Speakers and Education
NAFAS JUDGES are qualified at Area and National level. Qualification Tests for Area Judges are held regularly within the Area. NAFAS Judges undergo rigorous training in order to qualify and make unbiased decisions before allocating awards. They are available to judge at Flower Club Competitions and Area Flower Shows, whatever the size or location, and are happy to give constructive comments on matters relating to competitive work.
NAFAS DEMONSTRATORS are qualified at Area and National level. Qualification Tests for Area Demonstrators are held regularly within the Area. Demonstrations play an important part in flower club programmes with each demonstrator creating a variety of individually tailored floral exhibits, from classical to contemporary, often influenced by nature or a trendy new idea. Audiences can enjoy a ‘live show’ combining art, horticulture and theatre.
NAFAS SPEAKERS are qualified at Area and National level. Qualification Tests for Area Speakers are held regularly within the Area. NAFAS Speakers can entertain at any kind of event. They delight audiences with light-hearted presentations on a wide variety of unusual and intriguing subjects, often allied to flowers and plants, and bring fascinating visual aids and fresh plant material to dress the stage.
NAFAS TEACHERS are qualified at Area and National level. NAFAS Teachers are available to teach floral design at Club and Area workshops. Some social workshops, organised by individual teachers, are open to non-club members.
